The Scent of Rain and Lightning:
Memorable.. this book is so refreshing and makes you remember why you read books. Nothing like a good book to escape to. We go back and forth in time, just a bit but it flows so nice, you won't even notice, you will become so deep in Jody's life and the whole Linder family.
You will want to find out if Billy really did murder Hugh-Jay and Laurie, or perhaps it was one of the brothers on accident? Maybe Laurie did it, was a thought of mine.
Jody is a really believable, likable character and you will find yourself right alongside her.
Enjoy this one, it goes by quickly! I will be checking out Ms. Pickard's other books, she is a wonderful writer!
Make sure you get your hands on this book! You WON'T want to miss out. Nancy Pickard is a master storyteller and will have you guessing the entire time!!!!!!!!!!!!
