Review: The Favor

I always want to know why a title is chosen, and you will find out. That being said, I am sure from the very beginning we can make our own guesses about what the outcome might be. A few things might pop up and surprise you though.

We go back and forth from then to present day. A bit of rereading going on sometimes to try and figure out who we are at the moment. But all that aside, this book was really engaging. Janelle has a son, Bennett. She has nothing in California really any more, and her dad's family asks her to come back and take care of her Nan who is dying of cancer. Janelle hasn't been back in years, even though she promised Nan she would come back. Maybe it was because of those Tierney boys? The three boys are an odd bunch and really the whole thing just made me very very sad.

Lots of mystery and intrigue in this fast paced novel. You will want to know what exactly happened to Andy and why? What went wrong between Gabe and Janelle? Will Janelle's dad ever be able to make it up to her, and will she even let him? What exactly should we forgive and not forgive?

All these questions will pop up for you, and most of them will be answered, but I promise you will be thinking about forgiveness a long time after you have turned the last page!
