Longggg Saturday!!!

Well what is the deal? It is FREEZING out!!!! Goodness. Last night we had dinner, played the chasing game (where we turn out the lights, hide and DH runs around scaring and trying to catch everyone!) and I crashed shortly after that. Lex had a friend spend the night. This morning we got up, Hunter got up too and he went with us and sat, played his game while we worked out. When we got back, got everyone up so we could get out of here in an hour. We went to The Dalles, got the kids some popcorn and drinks and settled in for the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks. Then while they were there, we went and did the grocery shopping.

We went and picked them up and headed to Hood River to exchange Ellie's MP3. We came home, unloaded groceries and DH got a call power out somewhere. He didn't think he would be long, but Ellie and Lex helped me pack him a lunch. He called just a few minutes ago and sounds like east of us is having issues too so they are headed out there. So a quiet night here.

Going to watch Be Kind, Rewind. I hope it is good.

So here is the July ornament I finished:

Here is Holy Holly, It's Christmas SMO I JUST finished too!! ( I am really on a roll with these UFO's!!)

Hooray it is Friday!!!!

Good morning everyone! It is COLD here and a light dusting of snow. I want more!! LOL On Friday's I volunteer in Ellie's class, having the kids read to me for fluency. It is fun and the kids are awesome! They all try so hard. Also, it will keep me from wanting to eat!! lol I walked/ran for 3 miles again today. I am at 102, with everything on, but at least I haven't gone up. I feel really good and that is what matters. (Except for my knees!) --

Tomorrow Lex and Britt were supposed to go with the youth tubing but it has been canceled due to lack of snow. Wahhh I know they will be so disappointed. Then Ellie, Jeff, Hunter and I were supposed to go to Hood River to replace Ellie's MP3 and go to the free movie. I don't know if we will go now. Will have to see.

This weekend is a 3 day weekend!!!! I am thinking of something fun I can do with them on Monday.

Also, Jeff found out he is going to Camp Rilea at the beginning of Feb for 10 days. We knew it would be coming, but I am sad. His birthday is the 14th, so at least he will be home in time for that.

Stitching, well I got a bit done on Frosty. I have to work on it in natural light because I can't see real well. I love how it is turning out though.

I also pulled out the July ornament I never finished:

I hope to finish this today. Have a great Friday everyone. Happy Stitching. I will leave you with a few pictures of the kidlets and the dogs this morning!!!

Frosty!

Well I know everyone around the country is freezing. It is frosty here, but not as cold. I am praying for everyone that has extreme temps. Stay warm please!!!

I am so bad. Well at least I didn't start something new. I pulled out Frosty in a Black Box by SMO. I thought it had a mistake but it seems to be sailing along and I can't find one. I counted and recounted everything before I started.

Went 3 miles this morning. As far as weighing, I weighed 104 two days ago and today it said 102. I feel better, and that is what counts! I did do something bad. I snuck a honey bun this morning after everyone left.

Well I might do wood in awhile, but I am waiting for all the fog to burn off. I watched Top Chef from last night. My girl is gone now. I am sad. She is a really neat person I think. So many shows these days. I heard LOST is going to be up again, Big Love starts on Sunday!!! I can't help but watch. It is like a train wreck. --

Well I hope everyone has a great Thursday!! Happy Stitching!!!

Middle of the month already!!!

Can you believe it is already the 14th? Where does the time go?

Well we have been working out almost every day. Every day as well, I have been doing outside things, and dancing on the DDR pad. I have tried to keep busy so I am not sitting all day. Sometimes I am really sleepy though. I think it was Monday I slept all day and then went to bed at 7:30 or something. I weighed in at 103 but I had my pants, shirt, tennis shoes and heavy sweatshirt. Lex said my sides look thinner but my muffin top hasn't gone anywhere yet. I know it took quite awhile to get like this so it won't be overnight. I do feel better though. I have a bit more energy during the day.

Well I have been reading quite a bit so don't forget to check out my goodreads blog!

On to stitching. My camera has been unplugged but I can take a few now. So this is the doodle by Oakhaven Designs, the April Doodle by Needle Nutz and my WIP former UFO, Pumpkin Pie by SMO. Thanks for looking. Have a wonderful Wednesday! Happy Stitching!

Another finish!!!

Hooray another finish last night while we were watching Prince Caspian! I changed all the colors, but I hope you like it!

I have all 45 or so (turning a 666 shade ;) ) UFO's in a box, ready to go. Then I have a few more in my cross stitch bags. Ugh! I don't even want to know I am thinking but I am on a roll, and it makes me feel better to know they are getting done. I have soooo many other things I want to start, but when I see them finshed I feel super good, so I will keep up with it.

I am working on April Doodle now. It had a mistake with one of the flower pots. However, I found it this morning!!!! So I have about 40 stitches to finish it and that one will bite the dust!!! Only 2 more for my January goal. I will keep plugging away at them till the box is empty. I have mixed ones that I just got bored with the ones that have mistakes. My goal is to NOT start anything new until at least 40 of these are gone. It is only January 3rd though!

We have been taking down Christmas stuff, cleaning a bit. Ellie has a friend over for the night. Lex is across the street and Brittany is going to go make gingerbread houses at Tracy's later. Maybe I will walk with Tracy later too. We haven't walked in two days!!! Also, I hope to knock out the April doodle today too!

Have a wonderful Saturday. Happy Stitching!!!

First finish of 2009!!!

Yipppeee!! I have finished one of my UFO's!!! Sunflower Scramble by SMO is done!

Photobucket

Now I am on to a doodle by Oakhaven Designs.

It is quiet here today, maybe just a teaser of what I will get back after this weekend?? What usually happens though is the weather decides to reek havoc and they end up not going for another week. Has happened TWICE in the 5 years we have lived in WA.. Oh well! I have stitching goals, games to play with them so let it snow, or let the sun out, like today! It is a beaUtiful day!

I hope everyone has a spectacular Friday!!!

Happy Stitching.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to everyone! Well last night we went to church. Then after we got home, Tracy, Gary and Wesley came over. We had lots of snacks. The kids watched movies and played games. Jeff and I taught them how to play aggravation. We played men vs women. We won 4-2 hehehe! It was awesome! Anyway, we usually don't make it to midnight, but we did last night and we weren't even tired! After we watched the ball drop they went home and we went to bed. This morning we woke up to it looking like we lived in a snowglobe and someone had shook it! We made waffles and sausage that had carmelized onions and red bell pepper in it. YUMMY! Then I did dishes, laundry and a bit of picking up. We really hadn't made much of a mess last night. Then about noon Jeff got the call to go out, so he is gone. They said pack a lunch because it could be a long one. Wahhhh -- So everyone is just hanging out today.

So my stitching goals for January are all UFO ones this time.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, blessed 2009. On a side note, we have had a bit more trouble with Brittany. Just a minor problem but please pray for her. Nothing near the magnitude that we have had, but still all prayers would be appreciated. Have a wonderful Jan 1st!! Happy Stitching. Stay warm.
