Monday again. How does this happen?

Monday Comments

The weekends seem to FLY by!!! We spent our weekend hanging out all together and playing games, watching movies. Just enjoying each other!!!

Today though we are getting some snow accumulation!!!

This weekend while watching movies, I was able to work on Christ is My Salvation a bit!

But of course, Sandy from San Man Originals has to come out with a Winter Quaker!! So here I am going to start that!!

Blessed day to all!!!

~ Give, and you will receive. Luke 6:38 ~

FRIED-DAY!!!

Friday Comments

Hooray it is Friday!

Any big plans this weekend? I think besides getting ready for Thanksgiving we don't have many. The girls are going to a slumber party with other church members, so that should be a fun time for them!

My progress on Christ is My Salvation has been limited due to the pain in my hands. However I am seeing the rhematologist this morning!

So this is week 2:

Bailey and Kahlua are ready for the weekend too!

~ Love each other with genuine affection. Romans 12:10 ~

L-O-V-???

Wednesday Comments

Good morning friends!!! Wonderful Wednesday. Can you believe Thanksgiving is only 8 days away? Do you have your menu planned and if so what will you be eating?

Here is our menu:

Appetizers - Buffalo Chicken Dip & Pumpkin Pie Dip with fruit
Main - Creole Stuffed Turkery and stuffing
Sides - rolls, garlic roasted mashed potatoes, cranberry fluff and green bean casserole
Dessert - easy pumpkin pie, butter pecan pumpkin pie and sour cream peach pecan pie

Also for a drink we are going to have cranberry juice mixed with lemon/lime soda!

So I have been stitching a little bit on Christ is My Salvation.

It is coming along nicely!

Well all my chores are done, so I am going to stitch and rest today. I seem to have picked up whatever bug is going around and need to get better! Blessed day all!

Ribbit ribbit!!!

Saturday Comments

So I started on Christ is My Salvation. HOWEVER, I ripped out the alphabet I started THREE times! First time I just started with brown, then I discovered that it was supposed to be one brown/one green thread. Then I did that but I really don't care for it. I like the brown by itself better. So then I ripped all that out and redid it with brown. Then I discovered I was off a bit -- rip that out, again. Stinkin frog anyway. So this is ALL I accomplished last night:

So what did you stitch last night? Love to see all what everyone is working on!

A bit of stitching here today, as well as reading The Countess by Rebecca Johns, author of Icebergs. The Countess is her second book and I think it is going to be a good read! I just finished Goodnight, Beautiful by Dorothy Koomson. Check out my reviews on Amazon or Goodreads!

Happy reading and/or stitching! Blessings on your weekend.

~ I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge - even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you - so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corthinthians 1:4-9 ~

HELP! My camera..

has been taken over by some goofy girls!!! (and a mutt!!)

And they are on my computer too!! Eeks!!!

Where is animal control when you need them?? LOL

So I put in the LAST stitches to Thank God; Trust God just a few minutes ago. Pressed it a bit and voila!

I love this piece. The really blessing is while you are stitching CCS pieces, you can read and re-read the verses and sayings on them and keep them in your heart! Perfect way to spend your day!

So tonight I will be working on this:

What are you working on???

~ Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you. But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king. 1 Samuel 12:24-25 ~

Road trip!

What a week this has been! We went on a road trip to see my Aunt Jacquie and my cousin Justin in Spokane on Saturday for lunch. Aunt Jacquie was in Spokane because Justin had surgery. We had such a good lunch with them!

Aunt Jacquie LOVES her technology so here is Brittany and Lex loving on her phone!

I finished A Blue Christmas Friday night during my SAL and then I worked more on Thank God; Trust God. I love all the colors!!!

I am a bit further along than this now. I am hoping to finish it today or tomorrow.

Have a blessed day all!

To rotate or to NOT rotate?

Wednesday Comments - Backgrounds

Every once in awhile I will get this crazy idea to rotate projects. What works best for you? Ok so I decided I am going to rotate between UFO's and new pieces to give me some incentive. Then I am going to rotate between CCS and SMO. So enjoy the ride!

I finished SMO Pumpkin stitch off piece last night. He was a fun stitch! I stitched him on some 18 ct aida that I tea/coffee dyed myself!

Then I worked a bit on Blue Christmas. Here is what it looked like after working on it for an hour or so:

So today is a CCS new piece. So here is what I am going to do now! hehehe (serial starter I know!)
